Mavilin is a licensed travel agency based in Istanbul, Türkiye.
Private guiding led by licensed professional guides. It does not include transport, accommodation, entrance fees or meals unless we have stated so in writing.
Sending the form is a request, not a booking. A booking exists once the date, the duration, the guide and the total price have been confirmed to you in writing on WhatsApp.
Quoted per group, in euros, for the agreed number of hours. Additional hours are charged pro rata.
No prepayment. Payment is made in cash on the day of the tour or by bank transfer; card is available on request.
Free cancellation or change of date up to 48 hours before the agreed start. Within 48 hours, or a no-show beyond 60 minutes, may incur the guide's daily fee. If no suitable guide can be provided, you are refunded in full.
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply, as the service is performed on a date chosen by you (Distance Contracts Regulation, art. 15/1-g).
Photographs taken during a tour are used for promotional purposes only where you have given separate, optional consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time on WhatsApp and we will remove the images.
Complaints may be sent to us on WhatsApp and are answered within five working days. Turkish law applies; the Istanbul consumer arbitration committees and courts have jurisdiction.

Your name, email address, the requested date, duration, language, group size, interests and any note you add, to prepare your quote and arrange your guide. Your phone number and the content of your WhatsApp messages, to communicate with you. Basic technical data, including referral tags, to understand where requests come from.
We add you to our mailing list only if you tick the separate, optional box on the request form. We do not add you because you asked for a quote. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you on WhatsApp at any time.
We photograph tours only for our own records. An image in which you are identifiable is published only if you have ticked the separate photography consent, and that consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Only the guide assigned to you, and where we are legally required to. We do not sell your data to third parties and we do not send unsolicited marketing.
This site is hosted on Netlify and WhatsApp messages are processed by Meta; both store data outside Türkiye. By ticking the consent box you agree to this transfer.
Requests that do not become bookings are deleted within 12 months. Completed bookings are kept as long as Turkish tax and tourism rules require.
Under article 11 of the KVKK you may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its processing. Write to us on WhatsApp; we respond within 30 days.
